Randall Mays is an American businessman, investor and philanthropist based in San Antonio, Texas. Randall is currently Co-Managing Partner of Mays Family Enterprises and CEO of Running M Capital. He sits on the boards of Live Nation Entertainment, Digital Defense, Spinal Stabilization Technologies, BuildGroup Technology Fund and the Mays Family Foundation. Randall is also exploring opportunities within Neuroscience, Consciousness and Wellness.

After graduating from Harvard Business School in 1991, Randall joined Goldman Sachs & Co. mergers and acquisitions team before spending over 15 years at Clear Channel Communications (now iHeartMedia), a Fortune 500 mass media corporation. Randall held various leadership roles including Vice Chairman and President. During his tenure, Clear Channel Communications (NYSE:CCU) was the best performing stock on the NYSE for the decade of the 90’s. While CEO of Clear Channel Entertainment, Randall led the strategic initiative to further consolidate the Live Entertainment business and oversaw the company’s spinout into Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE:LVY). During this period Randall served as the Chairman of Live Nation from its inception until its merger with TicketMaster. After stepping down as Chairman in 2010, Randall remains on the board as Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.
Randall has a personal interest in neuroscience, human consciousness and wellness. He is actively exploring opportunities and partnerships for impact in these areas through his non-profit, Sankalpa. Randall is a devoted father to his four children who are most often by his side as he explores his passion for travel, talking to strangers, mentoring, fly fishing, pickleball, cooking and hiking.
